File :[Graaaah.swf] - (4.39 MB)
[_] [L] How can I compress this under 3Mb? Anon 887231 I know this sucks, but how can I compress it under 3Mb?
>> [_] Anon 887235 God damn the singing in that is annoying but could you tell me the name of the song nonetheless?
>> [_] Anon 887238 Reduce audio quality or compress the video more.
>> [_] Anon 887239 I'm guessing the whole song is contained in that flash which is why it's so large. Maybe you could edit the music file so it only has the bit you want in it and publish it again?
>> [_] Anon 887240 lol, series sauce now.
>> [_] Anon 887241 Behind Space - In Flames (Lunar strain album version is better) I've reduced music quality and gif size and a got a 3.5Mb file Can't compress more or it becomes ugly thanks.
>> [_] Anon 887242 >># no the song is a ~800kb loop the problem was the gifs >># http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OJrb13ou 50&fmt=18
>> [_] Anon 887243 >># Holy shit the acoustic part is awesome!
>> [_] Anon 887245 >># indeed
>> [_] Anon 887260 >># Seto no hanayome. This is from the second OVA.
>> [_] Anon 887268 this flash is awesome
>> [_] HvyFckingMetal 887272 All she's doing in that flash is hitting power chords. She's not even tremolo picking.
>> [_] Anon 887281 >># everyone knows, and no one cares
>> [_] Anon 887286 this is pretty good about the compression: the secret lies in not exporting the images as lossless gif but rather jpg. simply right click on ALL images (one at a time, very gay) and select properties. then select that that photo export should be used. upon export of the swf file you just specify a value of 50 or so to get good compression on your images (or specify the compression for each image). you can use a jsfl script to batch convert all gifs to photo instead of lossless quality, which i will give to you now (copy it to a text file, rename it to .jsfl instead of .txt and just run it):
>> [_] Anon 887287 var lib = fl.getDocumentDOM().library; for(n=0;n<lib.items.length;n++){ var item=lib.items[n]; if(item.itemType=="bitmap"){ lib.selectItem(item.name); if (lib.getItemProperty('compressionType')! ='photo'){ lib.setItemProperty('compressionType','p hoto'); fl.outputPanel.trace("SET COMPRESSION TO PHOTO ON:"+item.name); lib.setItemProperty('allowSmoothing',tru e); fl.outputPanel.trace("SMOOTHING ON:"+item.name); } } } this will also flag the image to allow smoothing which will make it look better when the flash file is resized. this script is gold so everybody should save it. here are two additional useful things i also use all the time for my loops etc: lib.setItemProperty('useImportedJPEGQual ity',false); lib.setItemProperty('quality',50); always glad to help Anonymous
