While I prefer Sim Brothel's aesthetics and setting (SB's setting was a bit more interesting and less sleazy IMO), it looks like you intend to make something more than "SB with different girls", which would be fine, but admittedly SB definitely needs some updates on the gameplay. I'd say the most glaring issue compared to Sim Brothel is the extremely ugly background and interface, I hope most of it is WIP. The interface for a game like this can really add to the pleasure of playing it. While SB's wasn't perfect, it was really "cozy" and, well, almost immersive in a sense. You're doing good work, keep it up.

Kinda gets repetitive: check the girls, check level up, if I have enough credit then buy something, repeat.

This does however limit my choice of existing art greatly, because I can't draw for shit and I'm not commissioning shit for this project. So I'm forced to choose the best out of a fairly small pool of suitable art.
