If there is an anime of the year, it will probably be fate zero, but if there is a runner up it most definitely is Horizon on the middle of nowhere. Great writing, character design, music, action scenes. Here is one of the best scenes from season 1.

A fairly poor example considering it was usually much worse, one of the core traits ruining decent shows in anime. Also the AMV's you post are pretty shit as well. Like this video, conversion to swf through flv really doesn't hold up in terms of quality. So why you'd want someone to appreciate the quality of something through this form is rather baffling.

Wouldn't be the first either, I don't think there has been a single GITS music video I liked. Also one of the reasons i really liked this scene is because the vocals made it play out like a music video.

>> [_] null !!3lIxD8oFumJ 1835921 The show takes place quite a ways in the future, humans had ascended but lost their way and when they came back to earth, it was in shambles by those left behind. the series DOES come off weird when you first watch it, but rest assured the source is from a lengthy light novel series, and while the show doesn't use any lengthy flashbacks or descriptive interludes you do pickup things here and there. I think the anidb ratings sum it up well; Season 1, out of 16 users it was rated 4 for fans, 11 recommended, 1 must see. Season 2 out of 12 users, 1 for fans, 6 recommended, 5 must see. So when the series first came out they were wtf, but after the second one (both combine to 26 episodes, not a huge span here) watchers had a better grasp on the series. A 3rd season is otw. And no I don't want to turn /f/ into /a/ ;)
