>> Anon 66168 >># yes, they. since using 'he or she' is improper grammar.
>> Anon 66176 >># Oh, look, it's the genderqueer tyrants again. 'He' and 'she' are the scientifically and culturally accurate and appropriate terms, so use those instead.
>> Anon 66177 >># lol
>> Anon 66186 >># Are you shitting me? Using singular pronound for a single person is now "improper grammar"? Fuck you, you language destroying queer and your 10000000 special snowflake pronouns. This is the last time I'm going to lecture anyone on this topic. Why are people like you even on a hentai flash chanboard? >Rule 30: There are no girls on the internet. So if you want to adress a singular person. You assume his idendity to be male, unless proven otherwise (e.g. common knowledge). You always should assume an internet persona to be a single peep and not a multitude of gents. This is, in fact, progressive treatment from 2000, way before any of this shit was even a hot topic. Think of it that way. On the internet, everyone is the same. No males or female. Everyone is just "he". If you read anyone's comment, you treat it the same way. You don't care about if "a women wrote this" or "this is clearly written by a 13-year-old boy". You just read a sentence and value it by its content, not its author. Take for example the german language. Every plural noun shares the same pronoun, the "female" pronoun, even if the word isn't female. That still doesn't make anyone think HURR DURR ALL MEN HAVE FEMALE PRONOUN I FEEL DISCRIMINATED. It's just a word. The word "he" on the internet is just used to refer to a person, you don't have to be so fixated in your thought process to think it HAS to be a man because of that. And even if you are a girl. You shouldn't even demean your content and demand that you are given this special treatment. Why? So you can bash in your "IMMA GIIIIRL" special attention points? Fuck that shit, that is irl shit, we don't need that here. We didn't migrate into the internet so we have to deal with the same drama as irl. No one the fuck cares, or should care if you are a BOY or a GIRL or whatever crazy shit you pull out of your thin asses these days.
>> Anon 66251 >># Jeez, someone's big mad. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singular_t hey Not every little thing is SJW propaganda. "They" is the commonly accepted pronoun for a single person whose gender you do not know, and it's been that way for a very long time. Chill.
>> Anon 66252 >># lol, so triggered
>> Anon 66257 >># Commonly? Like majestic plural? Are we now in medieval England and you are referring to your liege? >Traditionally he has been used to refer to a person of either gender, but today such use is widely frowned upon as excluding women. There's the whole reason for this shit right there. I don't take your bullshit. Why have I been on the internet and never seen any use of this phrase (unless someone was referring to f.e. a mega-coorporation) just until veeery recently, and now it's everywhere. >'he or she' is improper grammar Definitely not. Maybe you could ALSO use "they", but using "he" isn't by any definition "improper grammar". If you just think "they" is proper grammar and just don't care then don't use it. Unless you're a triggered woman, noone actually uses it that way. It's shit. Let me rephrase it to you for simpler understanding: You always know the gender of the person you talk about. Beacuase there aren't any girls oti, it's always a man. And if you know it's a girl, then you also know which pronoun to use.

>> Anon 66712 how about 'nobody'? as in, nobody gives a fuck.
>> Anon 66732 >># That's because it didn't exist. We weren't even taught that shit in school. English is not my first language, but I've been on the internet since 2006 and I have never ever seriously seen that in a way that wasn't an odd exception. The only They I know is when a knight talks to his king or whatever. You know, majestic plural. When you say We instead of I. Investigating the topic reveals it's a kinda recent developement (last 2 years) of people trying to further the "political correctness" after they realized nobody will use the pronoun Xir. But butchering language by forcing They is totally acceptable, because it's a real english word amirite? And ancient people in the past totally really used it too! Wikipedia says so, so it must be true. Disregarding that all cited sources are a joke and that the page was just recently transformed to make it sound like this is common knowledge, really just a coincidence. idk, maybe idiot HR manager used that in job advertisements long before, but I wouldn't know nobody I know, be it American or not, no english communities on the internet, no chans, boards or whatever ever used that before SJWs were a thing >># This. I'd rather know if someone is a single person and not know his gender, than not know that and not know his gender either. How about you're getting mad. >>#
>> Anon 66734 >># whoops, wrong quotatíons at the end >># This. I'd rather know if someone is a single person and not know his gender, than not know that and not know his gender either. >># How about you're getting mad.
>> Anon 66752 >># it did exist, it's existed before the SJW's appropriated it for their needs (like they have with many things) it's been used in literature and in real life a million times over to describe a singular person who has not been identified
>> Anon 66754 >># you ignore facts and reason. you're about half way to being and SJW yourself m8. my tip, some English literature (be it scifi or fantasy or whatever you like) and you will learn how common the singular they is.
>> Anon 66755 >># *read some
>> Anon 66763 >># >># Like I said, I don't really give a fuck about real life usage. I can imagine some phrases to use it, f.e.: >Someone has met with a terrible fate, haven't they. But what I complain about is the absolute forced usage of it when people just normally and casually used he, or she, before. Every time my eyes come across these forced sounding phrasings, like ALWAYS talking about others in plural here, it just feels wrong. This wasn't a thing before. Like I said before, on the internet, everyone is "he" unless proven otherwise. Nobody had a problem with that. During the -what- 8 years here on swfchan, and 10+ on /f/, I never saw anybody using it THAT OFTEN and THAT CASUALLY and THAT FORCEDLY. Try to ignore those facts. Why the fuck do you people even come here? I wonder why you think you have to come to some freaking obscure hentai swf board and have to SPREAD THE WORD about how using they is the dankest new shit that you totally did you entire life. Also, bitch please, think I never read any English literature or what? Still, maybe in YE OLDE works from 100 years ago, but apart from that, it's a curiosity. And on the internet, it has no fucking use whatsoever besides confusing everyone for "gender equality" reasons. Go ahead, tell me one good logical reason, besides MUH GENDER, to use that abomination and not just refer to everybody as "he".

>> Anon 66781 >># https://public.oed.com/blog/a-brief-hist ory-of-singular-they/
>> Anon 66782 >># quit being a triggerd faggot and just understand you dont fully understand the English language.
>> Anon 66783 >># it's generally applied when you dont know the gender (male or female) of the person being discussed (the most commonly used). it has also sometimes just been used to substitute him or her. an example, Person 1: " Did you send an e-mail to Mr.Soandso?" Person 2: "Yes I did" Person 1: "Have replied yet?" Person 2 : "Not yet" it's use and origins don't have shit to do with the SJW non-gender/ made up gender BS it's
>> Anon 66784 >># *"Have they replied yet" also the english literature i'm referring to is not olde english you retard, it's any modern english book. I've known english my whole life and let me tell you, singular they has been used plenty as native english speakers will on occasion interchange it. You may not have learned that in your class but there's not a single language you learn in class that teaches you every inch about how words are being used in slang or modern speak. you can be a triggered snowflake all you want about the subject but just know you're just as bad as the SJW's you say you hate. all you need is to dye your hair (probably) and become a vegan if you're not already and you'd be a perfect soy boy.
>> Anon 66796 >># >># >published September 4 / 2018 >article talks about how They just became a favored pronoun and wasn't commonly used by a lot of people, wasn't even considered generally accepted in the dictionary until 2010 was traced back to some and still criticised by a lot of linguists up till today >a transgender Florida school teacher was removed from their fifth-grade classroom for asking their students to refer to them with the gender-neutral singular they. indoctrination hit you full speed, fam Like I said, I don't even deny there are uses for it. Only when people on hentai imageboards start to instantly use it every time to denote some flash's creator is where I draw the line. Me? Coloured hair? Vegan? Projection much?
>> Anon 66811 >># >the article talks about how the singular they has been being used since before 1990's >ignores that and just spegs about how SJW'a use it now man you just love to ignore these facts because "Muh feelings" and "muh experience as a non-english speeker"
>> Anon 66812 >># also did this hentai creator ever state if they were male or female in any profile of themselves? if not then they is fine and appropriate because we don't know if they are a he or a she. how is that so hard to understand with this thing called anonymity on the internet?
>> Anon 66821 >># Well, muh feelings as a non-english "speeker" tell me you're just a butthurt faggot who can't not have the last word if not everybody complies to their progressive faggotry. How hard is it to understand that on the internet you just use he and be done with it. Because nobody cares for your gender neutral way of speaking that you aquired by tipping your fedora to countless members of the opposite sex, or how I'd call it, intentionally butchering of language and not understand what anonymity implies in the first place. Because it's not respecting "Muh feelings" of, I guess, the vast amount of women who would be anonymous hentai flash creators (believe me if they were women you'd know it by reading their first line of text on any social media) and showing off just how caring you are about the fact that it just miiight be a girl you're trash talking about in your endless rants of expertise about more cum buttons and niggerdick edits.

The only reason I make it available on deviantart is so it's available to play for free without requiring download, on a site that doesn't have porn ads plastered all over it. Most players actually like it on deviantart because it's more enjoyable to see it hidden in plain sight on a site that doesn't allow it. I have over 50 active deviantart accounts made over the last 16 years. If one gets deactivated, I simply use another. Didn't think it would hurt anyone's feelings to see it on deviantart lol. The fact is just, that using it improves grammar in no way, as you only lose information and on the internet political correctness and gender are of no importance. Enforcing this for said arguments worsens the English language.
