First seen or created?
First I've seen was ... idk, I wasn't paying attention personally, somebody showed me flashes on
/f/. I remember that adventures_of_xenon.swf was among them (AAARHHHGHHH), sometime in the 2000s.
The first I've personally clicked on ... huh, I don't really remember. I was used to flashes on
/f/ by that time so it was just another click.
First flash I've created was newperspectives.swf.
Stumbled upon a friend who sent me a link to an official ad campaign where you could insert your
own photo beacuase muh feel I guess. What followed was an obvious deed and I felt compelled to
not let that lulz be lost.
Funnily I couldn't post it on /f/, for reasons I can't remember. Maybe I wasn't used to posting
files and captcha. But I posted it on pown.it and sure enough somebody brought it over to /f/.

Probably some ancient garbage on albinoblacksheep or newgrounds. I regret not starting to save
them until adobe announced they were going to try to kill flash. I've fucked around and made a
couple loops but have no talent at drawing so I haven't done much else.

Funfact: Browser support and MPC support are similar, you need to have flash installed.
Browser: Install flash for firefox (NPAPI) - there should be installers on archive.org, replace
files with /end ones or modify yourself, alternatively whitelist for anyone too scared to tamper
with files
+use browser that supports NPAPI, this is hard coded and cannot be changed, choose your browser
accordingly, none of the "major" ones still support it, you can have more than 1 browser btw
MPC: have ActiveX version of flash installed, not be on win10 as it blocks activeX flash from the
system, if you don't have that specific KB installed make it so it won't in the future, it cannot
be undone (by current understanding)
view (and double click) swf files:
download the latest Adobe projector from archive.org and set to automatically open files on
windows
if you're too pussy to use a decent browser, you can download and open with projector swf files
automatically, just remember to delete them at some point (temporary folder)
