The great majority of flashes are just full motion videos compressed into a shitty low-bitrate .flv which in turn is embedded in an .swf. People are lazy, it's nothing new. In fact, a large portion of this board's content has really no reason to exist as a flash file, and would better serve its purpose on /gif/ or /wsg/ where it could make use of modern video codecs. This is for all posts that only contain a static video, no interactivity and no use of vector graphics. Music loops obviously excluded.
