  Best tracks:
  Ace Combat 4/5 (Love these soundtracks, especially 5.)
  Castlevania: OoE (Pretty chill track, though I can't imagine the OST version is nearly as good as
  this version.)
  Cave Story (Catchiest fucking song of all time? Possibly.)
  Chrono Cross (Both tracks, I guess. They're both quite good... Neither of them is my favorite CC
  track, though.)
  Chrono Trigger (Mostly the orchestral track.)
  C&C:TS (Oddly good, though not really solid 'till halfway through.)
  Duck Tales (Moon song is debatably the best song from any NES-era game.)
  FF5 (Though the Black Mages version isn't one I like, still an incredible track.)
  F-Zero X (Kind of wants to make you show somebody your moves, but not in THAT way. The other way.)
  HoM&M IV (If you do D&D, give your DM this song, they will appreciate it.)
  JSRF (Funky Dealer is a bit addictive.)
  Kirby's Super Star (Catchiest song in the whole bunch... besides the Cave Story one.)

  LoZ:Link's Awakening (Most overlooked Zelda theme by far, and one of my favorites.)
  Lost Odyssey (Roar of the Departed Souls is solid as fuck.)
  Lufia 2 (This game might very well have the highest overall battle music quality of any RPG.
  Lufia 1, on the other hand, terrible battle music all

  the way through.)
  Mechwarrior 2 (Pyre Light is a pretty excellent track, don't much care for Umber Wall.)
  Medievil II (Never played the second one, but fuck if this isn't an awesome song.)
  Megaman 3 (Incredibly solid remixes, as opposed to the spottier MM2 ones.)
  MMX (Armored Armadillo. 'Nuff said.)
  MGS 1, 2 and 3 (All good, but that goddamn Ukelele brings it over the top.)
  Mirror's Edge (I like this track. It makes me feel happy.)
  Ogre Battle (Great game, and I always did like the bit around 1:43 a bit too much for my own
  good.)
  Pokemon (The Red arrangement is fucking intense, and the Gym leader battle music has always been
  my favorite song from a Gameboy game.)

  SaGa Frontier (Loved that game. Not the best track from it, but still a good one.)
  SotC (Very cinematic soundtrack.)
  Solstice (Really a very bad game, but great opening title.)
  Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) (Cheesy as fuck, but really good despite (because of?) it.)
  Sonic 2 and 3 (Terrible Ice Cap remix, but it's such a good song I couldn't not include it.
  Chemical Zone is a great song with a good remix.)
  Starcraft (Best song in the whole playlist, by a LONGSHOT. Just... such a good song.)
  Tales of Phantasia (Actual track isn't really that great, but the arrangement does it well.
  Fucking S.S.H., man.)
  Terranigma (Excellent song.)

  Total Annihilation (Forest Green is a phenominal track.)
  Various Touhous (Withered Leaf is the weakest of the four, but they're all excellent.)
  Wild Arms (Remember the other two that I said were the catchiest earlier? I fucking lied. This

  have people who have never even PLAYED this game whistling it without noticing.)
  Ys (Valestein Castle is pretty great.)
  Zone of the Enders (Didn't want to like this song at first, but it grows on you something fierce.)
  Zwei! (Never heard of this game, but the Serpentina track is really, really good.)
