I fucking hate Firefox...
Downloads are impossible, you have to find a link to open a new tab, it's been generally slow in
my experiences, it now uses ask.com...
Shitload of other reasons too...
Safari is just as bad, but at least you can save .swf files. Internet "Shitxplorer" is the best
in my experiences.

try google chrome

and yes i stepped away from ffox too, firefox 2 was great, but when firefox 3 came , the
shitstorm with it came along, updates on 2 made it bad too. Especially the flash support
(partially adobe's fault with their 10.x player rush) and the random crashed made me step off it.
And yes, using google chrome now, you need to get used to it, but it's a pretty nice browser.

Are you really that daft?
Step 1: Select link with mouse, right click, copy
Step 2: Open new window/tab, paste link in adress bar
Step 3: As mp3 loads, go to File, save page as (entire page being only the mp3).
Step 4: Save.
Downloading flash is easy when using the same way, if they're .swf files you get directly linked
to like here on /f/.
If it's embedded on a page,
1 : click NEXT TO the flash
2 : select view page info
3 : Go to media
4 : Find .swf file (type frequently "embed")
5 : Save as.

You don't know what you're talking about and you seriously fail if you can't download stuff.
Firefox lists downloadable items unlike what IE did (or does, I didn't upgrade mine for a while)
in the page info. Secondly if you dislike ask.com you configure your search engines. You press
the ask.com logo, press manage search engines, delete ask.com, select get more search engines and
get something you like such as google.
Firefox is not necessarily better than IE, its power lies in its customizability which allows you
to MAKE it better than IE if you have at least an IQ of 70.
