  I just don't understand the point of it. Who are we rooting for? Why? Why does she have to blow
  up the space station? Why does the space station attack her? Why is the place that she starts at
  in ruins?

  All of this could have been fixed by just showing the space station bombarding the planet... but
  no, there is no explanation what so ever for what is happening in this flash. Is it so much to
  ask for a little plot with the sexy violence?
