At least the churches do something to help those in need and doesn't just think of "warming"
hobos.

Zeitgeist always falls flat due to one thing he never learned all those years ago. Humans are not
always altruistic.
Not pledging to the flag was the first sign he ever got that his dream for a better humanity is
merely a dream.

Who said I wanted Ron Paul to win? So many things wrong with what he stands for besides what is
popular.

>Humans are not always altruistic.
True.
There are altruistic and non-altruistic individuals. Given minds are part of the physical world,
wouldn't you agree it's a possibility we can manipulate the conditions through stimuli or other
means to promote altruistic behavior?
And culture being a product of environment, can't we shape it through the manipulation of
environment itself?
But how, then?
By observing and testing, science is the only tool we have.

And then you have the studies that show sociopathic behavior amongst those in charge of major
corporations. You don't think for a minute that these kinds of people are going to go away while
you make a better society do you? They always want their hand in the cookie jar.
I'm all in favor of a better tomorrow, but I don't know how you'd even propose going around and
making people give up self-centered ego.
The inherent flaw of every system humanity has ever dreamed or implemented is that it is used by
humans.

You wouldn't propose it, convincing people is hard, especially when they already have a fat
investment in the social world.
But most importantly, the ego is in the way, that's why you save your words and manipulate the
environment to show better alternatives.
If i told you what you thought was a pyramid is really a cube, and made you count the corners, it
doesn't matter how you feel or what your beliefs are, even if you deny it at first, when you need
a cube, you're gonna accept it as it is, because it's useful and you're not stupid.
Even the most radical changes through propaganda have been only partially successful, but nobody
in its right mind denies the earth is round, no matter how they feel about it.

I don't have all the answers and i don't know how to fix everything, nobody alone does. But you
do what you can, you try your best to improve it, and if you fail to do so maybe you didn't know
enough, then you observe again, try to get more information on the subject, and try once more.
If you fail you didn't know enough, or you were unable to see. Impossibility can be soothing, but
it's not sincere. Can a caveman get to space? just give it enough time.
Because if you try, even if you fail, you'll get everyone in the same path closer to the goal.
You do what you can.
