I mean seriously, all that energy released from that explosion, all that radiation, holy fuck i hope that guy literally doesn't get cancer. :/ >> [_] Anon 1514624 100 tons what, TNT, Composite B, Plastique, what, low yield yes, but what material are they using? >> [_] Anon 1514633 >># How do you know its a radioactive material? Most traditional explosives do not release radiation strong enough to warrant rado hazmat suits. >># A ton is a measure of energy. This explosion is equivalent to 100 tons of dynamite, regardless of how much actual material is detonated. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TNT_equival ent >> [_] Anon 1514680 sounds like he blew up 100tons of bullets or some shit based on the shit storm of shots afterwards

Lots of materials have the capability of some form of explosion. TNT was originally the most common, now C4 has claimed the spot due to its non volatile state. However, you can still get explosions from things like gunpowder, flammable liquids, flammable gasses, or sometimes just by mixing certain liquid chemical components together. Any explosion happens when too much energy is exerted too quickly into too small an area. A nuclear device is just another way of doing this. Technically, when you hear your lightbulb "pop" when it dies, that's an explosion, albeit a very tiny one. >> [_] AusNigra !eiUX4d7wdE 983967 cool shockwave bro >> [_] Anon 983969 This was actually a munitions disposal, not a bomb, iirc. >> [_] Anon 983971 sand rainbow >> [_] Anon 983982 >># that's fascinating. however, i'm pretty sure that when you preface "explosions" with "big," we no longer give two flying, shitting fucks about your fucking pansy-ass lightbulb pop. sick your phallic extension into an ice grinder and gtfo my /f/. >> [_] Anon 984020 YOU HAVE LOST KARMA! >> [_] Anon 984022 What's the sauce? >> [_] Anon 984023 what would really be impressive is if all that came from 1 cigarette charge. >> [_] Anon 984026 >># But I didn't kill any dogs or horses :( >> [_] Anon 984043 I MA A GNIER |
