I didn't know about the bombs as samus, but I found nothing much with the other two characters, other than Peach shrinks when hit, like mario, and amy can roll like sonic. And the power roll charge. Samus can wall jump though. As you run, jump. You'll notice she'll spin in the air. While jumping, make sure you have vertical movement and press the opposite way from a wall and jump as you hit a wall, at the same time.
