Pointlessly complex, yes, but everything does tie together. The story as a whole is pretty
well-written in all honesty. I can't deny that the plot mess could put some people off, but the
characters and interactions have a lot of charm.
Defending something on 4chan (that's not Touhou or Vocaloid) is a bit silly though, so I'll stop.
