This was a great emotional rollercoaster for me. I went to work like normal every day and did my
research because i wanted to find a cure for my wife and daughter. I forgot about them the whole
time i was working, and i didn't spend any time with them either. I should have been home with
them in our final hours of life itself, but I was too foolish to realize that. I came home one
night, and discovered my baby girl sleeping in bed, and my loving wife in the bathtub.... she had
slit her wrists. I cleaned up the tub and buried my wife in the yard with a quick cross made of
2x4s i had lying around, and when my daughter had awaken, she was looking for her mother. I said
nothing and took her on my shoulders to work to finish my research. I was sure i was to find a
cure soon enough for my daugher and I.

If anyone is feeling sad, know this; as a biomedical scientist this shit is impossible, virus
delivery based cures (although still a concept as opposed to a reality just yet) would never be
developed as an airborn contagion, its illogical. In addition, testing takes years to complete,
cell, animal and human trials in closed environments occur well before clinical trials, so unless
theres a latency period of several years that doesnt show up on toxicology reports, there is no
possible way for side effects not to be detected.

why cross species viruses are so scary because it means theres been a mutation to the virus. In
this way, its impossible for one virus to wipe out all life on earth, I could only infect one
species at a time and require a random mutation to pass on further. Natural resistance would also
usually ensure theres on average a 2-4% survival rate on the planet, this concept works for
diseases (thus how we get superbugs) but also works for humans, remember, natural selection got
us this far, we will always survive, always.
