Confirmed; Original game had a person that took 8 minutes to cross, not 10 minutes. 19 is the
best you can do here

No you faggot, take 1 and 2 over first, then send 1 back, then send 5 and 10, then send 2 back,
then send 1 and 2 over

Look who never played a Layton game...
This puzzle is so old, it already had a beard when your grandparents werent even born...

man, you don't need to be a nuclear physicist to get this is a troll: if you sum all times except
mr. 1 minute, you get 17 minutes. Since mr. 1 minute needs to come and go a buncha times, the
problem can't be solved.

Wow I feel fucking stupid for not getting that after a few tries.
I think people would want to send one over each time, since he would be the fastest to go back
each time. Interesting. I like this puzzle.

Apparently you do in your case. Fucking faggot, try again.

You guys are idiots. I solved it after a minute. 17 is perfectly possible.
>> [_] Anonymous 04/08/12(Sun)06:44 No.1652002
First try without thinking, 17 minutes. My reasoning was that you have to get the 1 minute guy to
make the trips back. Pretty easy.

1 & 2 go, 1 goes back, 5 & 10 go, 2 goes back, 1 & 2 go.

10 slows down whoever comes along massively. Doesn't matter who it is, though. So if he's gonna
slow anyone down, might as well be the second-slowest, rather then the fastest.
It's a test in efficiency.

17 MINUTES

It also works with
1,2=> 2<= 4,10 => 1 <= 1,2=>

ITT: Idiotfags who try to brush off a simple riddle like it wasn't that important when they were
too fucking retarded to do it before some guy told them how.
TL;DR You're all dumb

1 pushes everyone else into the crevasse and then crosses by himself. The other former hikers are
now classified as corpses, not hikers, so all hikers are now on the other side of the bridge.
1 minute.
>> [_] Anonymous 04/08/12(Sun)14:02 No.1652131
Alternatively: 1 crosses by himself, the rest are eaten by a grue.
