It's from season 3, episode 11: Sacrifice. Really poignant episode, though nowhere near as dark
as the episode Alone. Hell, Alone supposedly got the show cancelled.

They told Dino to just make the show as dark as possible for the third season. They got what they
asked for but...more than what they asked for.
For clarification, most of Clay's rant in Sacrifice is based on the emotions he felt towards his
wife, who he was divorcing at the time. He sunk most of that anger and despair into the third
season to make it what it was.

Most of the first season was just more of the same goofiness as seen in the pilot.
Second season started getting serious, and had continueing plotlines.
third season was all... WTF? I'd expect something like this from HBO, not cartoonnetwork/Adult
swim.
