words could not describe how disappointed i was with FF13. i thought FF12 (of which OPs flash is
from) was really good. if 13 was a joke it was horrible. then again it was horrible even if it
wasnt a joke.
and i think FF14 will be another mmo crapfest. are they fucking kidding me? keep this up and the
series might as well die as far as im concerned

Honestly, FF12 was disappointing after playing FF10. FF10 had a great storyline, great
characters, and great battle system, with a lot of extra content. FF12 had extra content out the
ass, but the storyline sucked and the battle system was incomplete.
How do I know it was incomplete? First off, several of the villains and temporary companions dual
wield, and ninja swords come in pairs. Despite that, your characters can't dual wield, so it
feels like this part was nixxed for some reason. The system also has huge flaws, such as the fact
that characters have to stop in order to draw or sheathe their weapons. Nobody would have left
that in there on purpose.

Also, movement speed stays the same regardless of battle speed, meaning you can seriously fuck
with the system by turning speed all the way down. Finally, the quickenings, or overdrives, were
hastily done, thrown in at the last minute, they're the same between all the characters in damage
and just get weirdass animations to differ them.
And did I mention the story sucks? Most of the story is politics. Nobody wants to talk politics,
they're fucking boring. The characters suck too. The only two with any degree of personality or
characterization were balthier and fran, and they just happen to have some of the worst stats so
go figure.
The game was alright if you're a min/maxing completionist, because it gave you a lot to do on
that end. Otherwise, the game was a letdown.

OP here. Even if she isn't "black-black" her skin color still looks black, which I don't find
good looking at all.
As for FF12 I think the game overall was better than FF10. I really liked the battle system.
However story-wise I think FF10 was better. FF10 also had a more thought-through world it felt
like.
Btw, I haven't played FF7 but I am looking at a long playthrough at the moment. I can totally
understand why people like the game so much, the world/characters/story/battlesystem is all
amazing. Plus there's a whole lot more options and choises that you make and stuff just feels
more adult (there are brothels and feels like more deaths for example). At one point one of the
main characters were strapped to a chair and was going to be gased to death even.
