I didn't remember this exact episode in the TV series (given that I haven't seen it), but I did
remember the first Pokemon movie.
I know I'm nit-picking over quality, but the telekinesis sequence is a lot more convincing in the
movie than it seems to be in this episode.
Perhaps I was more captivated by Mewtwo's and Giovanni's relationship than I am with Gary's
pompous attitude.

well... it occurs BEFORE the movie does but because of when they released the movie in North
America a lot of people saw this episode AFTER the movie hit theatres...
I greatly enjoyed this scene greatly as a kid. So worth it to see Gary go from his usual cocky
arrogant self to a whimpering bitch shitting his pants.
