I'll google a solution one of these days >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:11 No.1697375 >>1697372 same, wtf >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:11 No.1697376 >>1697372 I think newer versions of flash have this problem. Feels bad, man. >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:13 No.1697379 >>1697376 Indeed that is the problem, apparantly stand alone players are supposed to get around this but I have never got one to work >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:17 No.1697383 Yeah, the newer versions of flash players broke old movies for some reason. The standalone player for version 11 doesn't run a lot of old ones I have, but a flash 6 player I have does. I don't know if the Macromedia site has the old players available, but it's worth a shot if you feel like watching...Anything. Even the SDM Run and Flandre chase videos don't load on the new version for me. >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:23 No.1697386 >>1697372 Googled it yesterday. From adobe help and support forums elsewhere. It does not appear to be a problem with the browser (tested it on Opera, FF and IE; chrome is also reputed to have the problem). Not related to OS (Win7, XP and OSX). Maybe it's related to video drivers or codec packs installed on the systems. Can somebody who can view the flash properly please post their Adobe flash version, browser, OS, date of the last video-driver update and the codec packs you have installed, with version number. If you have a flash version before 11.0 - 11.3, don't bother. You can find the version by entering http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ into your address bar or by clicking 'About Adobe Flash Player' in any flash's right click menu. >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:29 No.1697393 Well lucky for me, my standalone player is still version 10 for whatever reason. >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:33 No.1697397 >>1697393 Which player are you using? Swfplayer? >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:36 No.1697400 >>1697397 Just the official Adobe Flash Player 10. >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)18:56 No.1697419 >>1697400 >>1697393 Just tested with it, it's not working for me (Version 10.3 from the adobe website, official projector and debugger). >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)19:18 No.1697437 >>1697419 Upon closer inspection I'm on 10.2. Again I have no idea why my standalone version is different from firefox's version. >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)19:20 No.1697440 >>1697437 Oh, I just figured out why. Flash files are associated with a version that came with some other software of mine. >> [_] Anonymous 06/12/12(Tue)19:33 No.1697450 >>1697437 Thanks for the info. All versions before 10.3 have been confirmed as working. On 9.0.280.0 right now. So if any body wants to watch some shit, http://www.sendspace. |
