  Considering these, and that both the dog-boy and the cat-girl got stuff (a robe, supplies for an
  arm cast, a box) between scenes, why did neither of them think of getting a ladder and some rope,
  or supplies to dig with?
  Practically speaking, they should have been able to go over or under the wall. I know this flash
  is supposed to be metaphorical, but the logic behind it seems to allow more favorable
  possibilities.
