I don't agree with this at all.
I don't think the highest reward was anywhere as high as what it should have been.
If the highest reward was TWO YEARS worth of salary then I think they would have seen much better
performance.

even if that was true, that shows how impractical it is for companies to try that kind of
reinforcement for cognitive work - if you have to offer a gigantic reward just to have someone
