Just don't take on Warhammer 40k in a fiction fight. It's a TERRIBLE idea. It's a vague setting
where Space Marines SOMETIMES have energy shield that stop bullets (see the "Iron Halo" behind
the officers' heads) and sometimes don't. Everything contradicts itself.
The only constant is that the Orks are the funniest fucking things I've ever seen.

Depends on what they're armed with.
But to be honest, it'd probably end up being an almost even match to two Spartans against a
single marine.
Problem with Marines is, without guidance they're pretty much an unstoppable killing machine,
problem is Spartans are geared just towards that sort of enemy, and use every tactic in the
history of humanity to deal with them.
Unlike Space Marines who unless they're actually someone with a rank won't know many tactics, or
how the enemy uses their tactics.
Putting this into thought, it'd still be quite a close match but with two Spartans covering each
other's backs with their superior agility, they should be able to wear down the enemy's armor and
eventually kill him.
On the otherhand, if they take too many risks one will be brutally murdered by the space marine
and the other quick to follow.
On the final hand, why the fuck would they fight at all?

Anyhow, spess mahreens are pretty much a band of mary sues in terms of fluff. When it comes to
crunch, Spartans have a chance in 10 to 1 fight, but 40k fans tend to reject crunch because "it
violates the story in the name of balance and fairness" (which is pretty telling in itself).
The 40kverse is empty masturbation that /k/ has wet dreams to and Halo is slightly more realistic
masturbation that lacks in raw bullshit when compared to 40k (they still have a lot of bullshit
mind you, just less than 40k).

Well, if the Space Marine had a bolt pistol and a chain sword, then he isn't going to do much
unless he can close.
If he has a Plasma Cannon and a Power weapon then he'd win no question.
Only way Spartans would win is by ducking and covering and battling him down since they have
superior speed as long as he keeps his armor on.
