I think i just realised why all AMV's bore the fuck out of me.
It's because i've already seen the anime and they always feel like some really overblown trailer
for it.
But moreover, it's more likely that it's because every single "serious" AMV feels exactly the
same.
The joke and parody AMV's i can get.
Is it that hard for people to just learn to animate and make music themselves?
If people like muxing animation and music together, why can't they learn to animate and why can't
they learn to make music.
It would instantly make Anime Music Videos about a hundred times more interesting to me. They
could use the series' characters, I would just like to not see material i have already seen
edited and reused.
AMV's just seem more like masturbating over a series to me.
On another note though, does anyone know that quote that a lot of AMV's and AMV communities
passed around about how "If you only want Music A and Anime B to make AMV C" or something like
that?
