  Apparently in the script Will was supposed to just shrug off his father leaving, but then Will
  Smith himself, went off an a tangent because his father apparently left him when he was younger,
  and he kept going with it, meaning each and every word. The hug at the end is a real hug from
  actor to actor, not between characters. That's why 'Uncle Phil' is in literal awe in the end.
  Idk, that's what I heard anyway, I could be wrong.
