Well, can't help you there. Spice and Wolf IS my favorite. Patiently awaiting third season.
However, Ika-Musume was quite good, as well as Sekirei.

I've actually already seen Ika-Musume. I was pretty much beaming the entire time. As far as Spice
and Wolf goes, I doubt the third season will ever happen. Your best bet is reading the light
novels.

According to a poll, Milky Holmes season 2 was /a/'s anime of the year.
Not surprising, really.
Since this isn't /a/ though, I suppose I can help with your request. You might like Hyouka or
Chuunibyu, which both are reasonably good with some romance.
As a disclaimer though, I haven't actually watched Hyouka, just read about it.

I feel a little ashamed this wasn't already said, but if you haven't watched it Zero No Tsukaima
is great. It grows on you, and it's got three seasons.
