  The idea is that multiple "Alices" came to Wonderland and each of them was either corrupt or
  became corrupted in some way, and in turn died and became specters. It's a pretty macabre version
  of Alice in Wonderland, though the concept of a "dark" Alice in Wonderland is getting a bit tried
  and old... too many people are doing it now.
