dubstep is fine, it's just skrillex-brand dubstep that is shit.
It's the equivalent to metal bands that try to be so hardcore its just a blur of growls, riffs,
and drums all processed at maximum volume. Skrillex does not understand balance, nor do his fans:
which are mostly underaged kids correlating their tastes to what their parents hate the most.
He's a few steps above "kid who dicks around with garage band and made something hardcore".
He isn't representative of Dubstep, just as Nickleback and Linkin Park isn't representative of
Rock, just as Taylor Swift isn't representative of female-fronted country, just as Lil Wayne
isn't representative of hip hop. Despite this, they are the most popular in said fields: and they
all suck ass.
