The movie is called "The Great Dictator." This movie is a satire that was against the nazis. In
this scene, Charlie Chaplain's character was disguised as the dictator (who resembles hitler) in
the movie since they both looked alike (Charlie Chaplain played both). The protagonist was
mistaken for the dictator and was supposed to give a speech to his men about becoming emperor.
This video shows the scene where the protagonist (as I said before DISGUISED as the dictator)
gives his own speech. But that won't matter since this will be re-posted over and over and people
will just believe Hitler was an alright guy. Just search up THE GREAT DICTATOR and you'll see the
whole plot.

Except if you do any research on the film, you'd find out it was immensely popular in the UK and
and USA during the war.
It was 10 years later when he was accused of being a communist that he had to flee America.
Whether the film was related to it or not is kind of up in the air.

this just shows how easy it is to make a convincing speech by stating the obvious and making
generalizations, I'm not surprised Hitler go into power when an actor making a 2 minute speech
can change peoples minds

Except Chaplin was a socialist. He was a member of the American Communist Party. What he's saying
here is the core of what socialism is about; using society and government as tools to unite
people, share resources, and ensure prosperity for everyone.
The anti-socialists in the U.S. Government had him blacklisted for making this movie (which he
knew would happen when he made it), he was never allowed to work in Hollywood again and had to
retire to Europe.

You can't use politics to unite people, politics can only be used to divide people since anyone's
politican opinion is valid in a question time session. Science however gets to the core of what's
factual, if science is ever employed as the foundation of society, the political sessions known
as "Question Time" will be a thing of the past. I hope them to be.
