While I think a city as technologically advanced as what the Venus Project proposes would be
kickass and definitely the goal we should be working towards, I feel that the Zeitgeist movement
is rather naive about how such a massive project could come about and be maintained. If such a
city were to be built and made to espouse Zeitgeist's view on how a national/international market
should be conducted, corruption and decay would be inevitable.

This thread is far gone from actually talking about the video but the thing is very boring and
doesn't even deliver on its premise. It masks itself with three "ideas" that come from nowhere
and wrings them through the pseudo-intellectual grinder until your mind numbs from trying to keep
up. Then it tries to move into normal propaganda.
The bad news is that any policy and thoughts that emerge from Zeitgeist would be subject to the
same limitations as the three "big" ideas expoused, just another illusory form of freedom where
choices exist in some far off place and only the illusion of good decision-making exists.... oh,
wait, I get it now. The premise of this film is that God, government, and money are fantasies,
but ones that people put their trust into though flawed, but Zeitgeist is not.
It wishes to be a flawed fantasy of the people too.
