On the one hand I always see posts about how it died.
On the other hand cats, especially siamese, are very light animals, and on top of it typically
have a high surface area for their size and thus a low terminal velocity, all adding up to a
Siamese cat falling from any distance having a very low kinetic energy compared to, say, a human
falling from the same distance, so unless there was a bed of nails on the ground, I don't think
the cat COULD have been hurt.

I've seen my friend's cat jump straight out of his 2nd floor window to try to catch a bird in
mid-air (missed the bird but came really close) and land on it's feet.
That cat was probably fine unless it landed wrong somehow worst case: a few broken bones or maybe
something dislocated.
