I think it's less about whats wrong with the game, and more about the players reactions to it.
I still find it hilarious when a player new to the first Silent Hill gets scared by a dog for the
first time, regardless of how many times I've seen or heard about it over the years.
It's just a two part equation. The game, and the players. The first one might not change but the
second one always does. I can understand someone in your position though, sometimes the players
can't make a tired subject entertaining again.
Moments like this keep me coming back though. Pretty sure I've never heard or seen Knuckles
gravitate along the ceiling before.
