Macs have no customization. But hey, they are shiny

sure they do, the old imacs had, like, a dozen different colors to choose from!

tried playing vidjya on a mac. Then I remembered there wasnt any fucking right click

Wow, you must either have a really old mouse, or are really pathetic. Modern Macs have more ways
to right-click than PCs... Pick an actual problem if you want to complain about Macs.

B-but there's only one right mouse button.....

I laughed my ass off, and then I realized that it's all fucking true. Today there are no real
benefits of buying a mac, considering the price. Only if you're a guy with an incredibly small
dick and the only way you can get into girls pants is by distractig them with shiny new objects.

I do programming for a living, and to be honest....
I'd recommend a Mac. I don't use one myself, but when I look at what it offers and what I can do
with it... it's good for the price, seriously.
I use Linux myself, but I wouldn't mind using a Mac, with OSX.
You reach a point where you only want things to "just work lol", so you can be more productive.
It takes very little effort to do something with, and there's value in that.

I should get charged for responding to a troll, but macs stop "just werking" as soon as you want
to do anything outside the Apple experience. They have their own quirks, and using a Mac
productively is going to have the same learning curve as linux or Windows.

This is tagged as a loop, but doesn't actually loop.
Just saying.

So... You own a mac, and you want more of that "Just Works" magic aye?
Well today is your lucky day!
1. Open any app.
2. Type "File:///" into a text field
3. Push Enter
4. ???
5. PROFIT!!!

I'm a mac and that means im an artist
I'm a pc so that means i am a gamer
we are both x86 based so games are starting to be marketed across both with unilateral
development or easily used via bootcamp / vmware as modern macs ship with decent video cards and
modern windows machines have VM optimized CPU's
we also do everything through the web
so whats the difference
start menu or launchpad
well, I guess all the bitching is just stupid then

I do all my programing for a mac, have my windows gaming machine next to it so i can use visual
basic some times as a cheat sheet, that and so when the work day ends i just swivle my chair to
stop givin a fuck

As a longtime user of a Mac I can tell you, everything they try to tell you in sales pitches is
absolute bullshit. They've long since abandoned any real advantage and are sold now entirely on
style factor.

My physics department bought $10,000 worth of Macs for the undergrad lab rooms as part of a
makeover to make the department "trendier".
Lo and behold NONE of the lab software works on Mac so everything has to be run through Windows
in parallel.

Apple has fixed most of these problems and made macs usable and fast for the most part, while
windows just released that windows 8 bullshit that nobody likes. I use windows, and I hate Apple,
but even I can see that Apple is doing well while Microsoft is fucking up right now.
I'm hoping the confusion leads to a stabler, easier to use Linux OS and more developers
supporting Linux users.
