Probably from the mid 90's; the splash at the beginning said "Shockwave.com," which was a portal
of various Macromedia Shockwave creations that was in the 90's.

Well, I can say for sure then that it's pre-2005; since Macromedia wasn't acquired by Adobe till
2005 or so.
I may also be misremembering the year; I just remember that it was from when I first got on the
internet.

Gotta say thanks OP. The Critic was one of my favorites as a kid and the flash was pretty good.
