you make money by selling the stuff you harvest from monsters
the stuff you harvest from them goes up in value the higher the stats of your monsters are
you raise your monsters stats by either breeding them with each other or feeding harvested stuff
to them
so the only important thing for not going bankrupt is using your starting capital to invest in at
least 2-3 monsters. I got 2 male and 2 female monsters myself and they produced offspring

The game breaks after a few minutes.
Stats needed to sell monsters to vendors exceeds 1000, and the limit you can raise them to by
breeding is 1000 flat.
1000+ stats monster "can" be bought from the market - but unless you buy and release worthless
monsters - new ones won't be available.
