Few (if any) have ever lived a life free from hypocrisy. That doesn't disqualify their suggestions. One of the ideals behind anonymous posting is that we can avoid falling into the trap of judging the speaker instead of the message. On leddit or other more traditional, persistent-identity forums, you'd have someone digging through your post history to point out how you can't think X now because a year ago you thought Y. Chaplin's speech is a rousing one because it appeals to ideals that he (and you and I) couldn't quite reach. Yet it's important that his performance can inspire people to aim high in spite of their human tendency to fall short. >> [_] Anonymous 05/12/13(Sun)18:28 No.1971581 this needs more views >> [_] Anonymous 05/12/13(Sun)19:01 No.1971614 Ghandi is hardly a paragon of Kindness.
