  I know that a lot of people say this, and I always laughed at them, but right now, I think they
  are right:
  The era of consoles is over.
  They aren't creating anything decent right now.
  Xbox One and PS4 are too all-in-one tryhard, and fuck social gaming.
  Ouya is too independent for me.
  Steam Box will be too overpriced.
  Handheld gaming had it's optimum at the Gameboy Advanced, everything new now is kind of shit and
  too expensive for a handeld.
  My best bet is computer gaming.

  Yeah, i have my original psp cracked and running all sorts of roms and emulators, i have my xbox
  and my 360 and a ps2 that run all my old favorite games, Pc for some rts and stuff that isn't
  console friendly and i don't use steam because i can't stand DRM and the fact that i can't have a
  hard copy of my game (i enjoy having a disk, something Ouya wants to take away.. maybe it might
  work idunno). I just.. what happened to waking up at 6 am and sneaking downstairs to play legend
  of zelda a link to the past, what happened to Super mario and Super mario 64? where did the days
  of Sonic on the gameboy and not having a back light on your handheld device go? i remember when
  as soon as the sun went down you were fucked because you couldn't play gameboy in the car... I
  miss it all simply because it was unique, it was fun, it was gamer based and all about
  entertaining you and keeping you involved.

  This is exactly what I am doing. I have my dual shock 3 controller connected to my pc so I can
  enjoy games that just feel wrong with a mouse and keyboard like racing games and hack and slay.
  I am going through all of my retro games and play these. Fuck the new generation, I am staying
  with my generation.
