  It wasn't started by anyone with a specific creed. The whole "internet hate machine" is what
  ruined 4chan. People come here expecting an environment of hostility and shit and thus
  perpetuates itself with shitposting from kids who hop onto the bandwagon. Sometimes from Reddit,
  sometimes from other places.

  The people who "started" 4chan or the "first people here" were outcasts of social norms, given
  anonymity and the ability to express ideas with no shame. Unfortunately, that idea was perverted
  by a "culture" that doesn't even actually exist.

  The "cancer" that will save 4chan would be a return to people who didn't particularly care if
  they were the center of attention. It's all about the exchange of ideas centered on the topic.
