It's a metaphor. If you notice, as the video goes on, the guy becomes less and less detailed and
vice versa for the girl. I don't know what the original artist intended to portray, but I see it
as a metaphor of the give and take that is involved in a relationship, and how important it is to
give back to your partner as much as you take from them. Otherwise, you end up exhausting the one
or the other.

I was seeing how in the beginning the girl looked like a ghost and behaved like one as well, and
