Kind of but not really. it's still competitive but instead of competing on the basis of skill its
based on who is willing to sink the most time in to find time saving exploits, and then of course
actually complete the run while re-doing parts until you get them perfect. The only cool is I
think this was done in one run without saving. Thats kind of rare as tool assisted runs normally
use save states heavily.
tl;dr tool assisted runs are basically dick waving contests for who can cheat more.
