Firstly, they are referred to as swfs or at least flashes
Secondly, these 404's althought i'm not entirely sure, that has been happening since a recent
update on this board, all in all it either happens because people have been deleting their
submissions to make room for more, or mods have been busy. not to mention the usual reason for
404's which would be it moved off the list, but even then it still lasted a bit longer
