Whats the anime with the blue glowing lines?

The lines all appear to be a visual effect added after the original animation, or alternatively a
recoloring of the scenes. The first few sequences of the effect appear to be from The Melancholy
of Haruhi Suzumiya with other shows featuring the effect as well. TMoHS has two seasons and a
movie, I'm not familiar enough with Season 2 or the movie to say definitively where each shot
comes from. The show is a mix of slice of life and rather "hard" science fiction (see the first
episode of the show to see what I mean, and try to comprehend what is being withheld from the
viewer--there's some crazy stuff going on if you just look for it and fill in a few blanks even
though it initially feels perfectly normal and kind of boring on the surface).
