The input is a little screwed up sometime. Try letting go of the jump button after jumping and
trying to move then.
I dont think you can be moving laterally and vertically at the same time. Its a limitation of
flash.

You can totally do it in flash. The guy who made this probably didn't think to fix it, or didn't
know how to fix it.
