Good point. See alot of these things converted from youtube, almost universally they suck, is
there in fact a right way to do it, or is the right way to not do it at all?
Also, this isn't even the origional videos, they're spliced together with X8's intro music. But
oh well, it's a Dead project anyway.

I'd assume a combination of Keep Vid and something to turn a .flv into .swf. Dunno what, but it'd
have to also keep the file size under /f/s limit.

I find it a bit ridiculous for there to be a 10 MB limit in 2013, myself. Most times when I end
up converting crap I hit a roadblock because it's either just above 10 or it's great quality but
it's 11-12 MB. Unfortunately, most people both here and on /q/ don't seem to care, and more often
than not throw a bitch shit over someone wanting the limit raised a bit. Hell, it's just 2 MB,
not like we need a 50 MB limit and to allow for FLVs directly or other retarded things.

Yeah, there's on the front page 29 active .swfs. If all of those, plus some that I know are
accessible even after they drop off the page, lets say 60 in total just for the fuck of it, were
all max MB, that's only 600 MB, just over half a gig.
By comparison, on /b/, a single thread that hits the image limit of 250-252 images (I can't
recall where it actually falls in that range), each with a average of just 100 KB (and often
higher, especially on dumps and .gif files), means in just one thread there's about 24MB, roughly.
In 3 max threads, or a whole page, of most other boards, we have our entire board's contents.
Doubling the limit to 20 MB per, making the overmax 1200 MB, would not be unreasonable in the
least. It'd be half a gig more that the servers have to process. Not exactly make or break I
wouldn't think.

Ack. Missed a zero. So a max thread isn't 1/3rd, it's 1/30th. Still, many threads are FAR above
100 kb, averaging 500 or so. Point stands, it's a very minor increase in total data if the limit
were doubled.
