  Steins Gate is OK. The characters are interesting and the premise is decent. The story has an
  unfortunate inevitability to it after a certain point, which makes the end pretty boring. It
  probably makes a better VN than an anime (which I imagine is true of Higurashi as well).

  Probably my favorite anime
  If you are going to experience the SciVis series
  You HAVE to play the Chaos;Head VN, the anime is terrible
  Both the Steins;Gate anime and VN are extremely good, the VN is infinitely better for all of the
  other great/horrific content, but it is incredibly time consuming
  I've only watched the Robotics;Notes anime, which was OK, but I'm as with everything, the VN
  would be better

  So yes, watch it
