This is good. I think it sounds a little better in Japanese though, because I'm not as familiar
with their vocal nuance as I am with English. Her voice goes to a slight chirpy fake happy sound
at some points which is a little annoying. It's still quite good though.

Wait, I'm confused. Are they doing Bakemonogatari in english now? I really don't want that. Most
of the show used parts of japanese language to tell the story and make little jokes. I think too
much of that would be lost in a translation. Hell, almost 90% of the show was them talking and
they made jokes using specific parts of the language a lot.

Things like DBZ, Yu yu hakusho, etc. all worked really well in english (probably because that's
how I first experienced them, but a lot of anime doesn't do so well with translation.
Bakemonogatari seems like one that would be horrible in english. English dubs ruined naruto for
me (luckily, it started to suck anyway) and I wouldn't want that to happen with this.

I watched Railgun in English first and it doesn't bother me, but I do prefer the japanese
version. Only show I'm totally 50/50 on is HotD. They did a good job with the english cast imo,
but not everyone likes it and I saw it in japanese first, so it feels more natural that way. I
just hate subs when I want to watch something while going to sleep and I'm trying to read it
while attempting to pass out; that doesn't work so well.

Well see this is where things become a problem in my opinion. Voice acting in some dubbed animes
isn't bad and people would like to say that it would never compare to the original Japaneses
version.
But where I see the problem in this is the fact that you don't know Japaneses(unless you have
actually spent the time to learn it) and only know what they are saying due to the subtitles.
Since you cant understand what they are saying with your ears how can you be sure that they are a
good voice actor?

You can tell a bad voice actor no matter the language.
When the actor's voice is bland and lifeless, doesn't fit the character, and gives no hits of any
"acting" it's bad.
A lot of English dubs sound like this probably because the actor thought they were going to be
doing Disney works or something big in Hollywood, but are stuck doing some weird, foreign,
cartoon.
I've watched a few different anime series with bad voice acting. Aishiteru ze Baby is a good
example, this is the only work some of the VAs have ever done, and it's not so good.

the singing is very well done, for english standards, but i wouldn't rely on her to voice act
nadeko throughout the entire series. to me the acting is a bit too generic, and doesn't seem to
completely fit the character's personality.

This. Finally I met someone who also thinks Naruto isn't the best thing in the universe. I think
some english dubs work and some don't. I mostly watch my anime in subs because the dubs usually
don't put any emotion into their lines and it ends up sounding like complete shit. As for this
flash; I really liked it and thought it was good, though not better than the japanese version. I
thought she did a great job. Better than most dub covers I've heard anyway
