If you are not good enough to edit this template, you should not be doing flash. If you just want to break the template down, the only thing flash is doing there that HTML / CSS can't naturally is the weird fade, and Ajax can handle that.

Flash gets annoying after awhile, especially if you connect to the page all the time. It's only good for an intro or maybe a banner or something.( or a pure design site) 2) Learn ACTION SCRIPT for flash so you can make original shit. 3) you need the .fla in order to edit the actual template and other content.
