robotech is/was one of the most popular/widely known anime series of the '80s. it effectively
spawned the BattleTech line of PRPGs, tabletop games, VG, etc (after a licensing/copyright
shitstorm, eluded to by the narrator, but much more complex than described) and embedded the
'giant-transforming-humanoid-robot' meme in the mind of any kid who watched cartoons of the '80s &
'90s. We're talking the PowerRangers/Pokemon of my generation (35+ oldfag) The narrator basically
answered your shitty 4-word response, and you couldn't even be bothered to rub two brain cells
together to try and comprehend the info-dump he just gave you.
