Very few soldiers would take pleasure in it. The beatings have been shown to be a psychological
thing that happens regardless of your thoughts. See Stanford Prison Experiment. If you ever read
the graphic novel Maus there are multiple sections in which the germans show compassion. For the
most part the german people went to war because they were screwed over by the treaty of
versailles after world war I, Inflation went through the roof and in times of chaos people look
to order. The truly "evil" person was Hitler, even then he could have pleaded insanity.
Im not disputing that the what the nazis did was wrong, death is a loss in any case. I'm just
