I like how they skipped the part where he buys the movie or go to the actual shop and looking for
the particluar movie he wants to watch

Where's the part where the glasses guy stops using stupid dial up and gets a DSL?

Its sad but there actually ARE people like this.
My parents and my aunt & uncle all use redbox and have huge collections of dvds stashed up. I
think its an old habits die hard kind of thing, which basically means they'll keeping doing
inefficient things because lernin' stuff iz hard.

People who actually believe this are the people supporting a dead industry. Every new generation
of physical media actively tries to make it harder to use. DVDs had unskippable menus, region
codings, macrovision flags, CSS, etc. Blu-ray brought mass HDCP implementation, BD+, AACS. Shit,
I still remember the 09 F9 thread. I still don't have a Blu-ray player.
Sheit man, at least with VHS you could fast-forward the old-fashioned way.

If I didn't pirate I'd simply watch less movies.
They're usually not worth the money, and cinemas/rental aren't cheap around here.

Every single fucking time I go to the cinema, there is someone behind me kicking my seat. Whether
they are uncontrolled children, or mindless fogeys, or rude teens, or grown adults, it never
fails. It also goes without saying that they are terrible about temperature and volume control.
So I stopped going.

It takes about 10 miniuits to download a 5 GB ISO, or 15-20 for a 10 GB ISO. So that means its
faster than going to the store and buying it.
