The last (and most productive) attempt was by Ortiel, but he also dropped the project. Having worked with Ortiel as a writer on the original, I got his permission to make my own version, and I've pitched the idea to the company I'm with (Carbon and Steel Software) As soon as we can organize ourselves and redo Ortiel's "spaghetti-coding" into a better language, I'll be able to go back to writing, and hopefully we'll get this thing made. TL-DR Don't worry, Crab Nicholson isn't dead.
